Thermoforming

Thermoforming is the process of forming plastics into a certain shape. A thermoplastic plastic plate is heated to a so-called softening range and then drawn by means of vacuum (vacuum) through a tool which corresponds to the desired shape.

We are good in shape

The plastic plate is attached to the tool and thereby forms the tool contour. Through a subsequent cooling process, the plastic retains the necessary stability. This technology makes use of the power of the vacuum. This process for the shaping of thermoplastics has previously been referred to as vacuum forming, thermoforming, deep drawing or vacuum drawing. The last step is the punching out of the mold.
