From idea to development to realization
Our production facilities enable, among other things, the following production processes:
Thermoforming
During deep drawing, suction devices create a vacuum between the material and the tool. The heated material is thereby firmly pressed against the walls of the tool and takes its shape.
With this manufacturing process, we manufacture parts for the automotive industry, e.g. Masking plugs, caps, consoles, as well as, for example, blisters, folding packs or trays for the packaging industry.
Stamping
The stamping serves to separate moldings from different materials. This is done by pressing with special cutting tools.
With this manufacturing process, we manufacture individual parts and products mainly from plastic for the automotive as well as packaging industry.
Welding
By heating by means of electrical voltage, plastics can be fused permanently with each other or with other materials. The high-frequency welding method that we prefer provides, among other things, convincing qualitative and economic advantages.
With this manufacturing process, for the most part, we process, for example, our ring binders and weld various plastic pockets, e.g. Travel, triangle or CD bags in our advertisements.
Embossing
The embossing process is used in surface refinement and design. Our machines enable positive, negative, surface, decorative and film processing.
With this manufacturing process, we are processing plastic films in the automotive sector as well as paper and cardboard in the packaging and advertising industry.
Screen Printing
The printing ink is pressed through the meshes of a screen onto the underlying surface. ORTMANNS relies on this method, especially for film processing.
With this manufacturing process, we are working particularly in the automotive sector, especially to produce our self-adhesive water protection films. But also our PVC / PP folder is printed with the help of screen printing.
Milling
Our modern 5-axis portal machines ensure efficient, rational and economical processing of all plastics as well as workpieces made of aluminum and wood. Even complicated 3-dimensional shapes are no problem.
With this production process, we process e.g. Plastics for the automotive industry. But also packaging or plastic holders can be easily cut into the desired shape.
